CGI Short Film Chameleon

The CGI Short Film Chameleon is a strong, 5-minute film by Sam Lemberg which really only uses a few seconds of cgi but does so very efficiently. The setup is brilliant – you’ll see what I mean once the five minutes have played out. Good solid acting as well. What I really like about sci-fi is that it puts people in situations where our human traits are stretched and tested beyond what would normally ever happen on a normal day. The “stretching” is profound in this short, if you try to put yourself in the place of the protagonist. The storyline is based on a work by Colin Harvey: A hostile race of aliens has invaded Earth and the government fears that the aliens are modifying their DNA to pose as humans. When a military officer abducted months ago mysteriously reappears, his wife is called in to ask him questions only she would know to find out who or what he really is.
